How it all began...

KAHUNA USA is an energy engineering and project execution company that strongly believes in fostering an environment of positive growth, creativity, collaboration and confidence, all while giving back to the community. We believe people are our greatest natural resource. In addition to supporting and enhancing work lives, the company works to support causes KAHUNA USA employees are passionate about within the community.

KAHUNA KARES began in 2016 as an established charitable giving program that provided KAHUNA employees the opportunity to support nonprofit charities of their choice through corporate giving. As a result of the program’s growth and success, KAHUNA KARES was established as a 501(c)(3) Foundation in 2019!

Since its inception in 2016, KAHUNA KARES has contributed over $49,569 to employee supported charities through the corporate matching program, and over $67,966 through fundraising events. Each year Kahuna Kares selects a charitable cause to focus fundraising efforts towards… we are excited to announce the 2023 Kahuna Kares beneficiary will be St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a charity committed to supporting the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.
